Aseara la Los Angeles a avut loc ceremonia de decernare a premiilor iHeart Radio, o initiativa a unei mari retele de radio din America (peste 400 de statii in toata america), ceremonie care e transmisa in direct de NBC.
Au fost premiate unele dintre cele mai mari nume din industria muzicala (premiile sunt un cumul de vot popular, difuzari in reteaua iHeart Radio si difuzari in platformele digitale ale retelei), Taylor Swift si-a lansat noul clip… etc etc a fost cu deranj mare.
Scriu despre premiile acestea din doua motive.
1. Au fost create in 2014, ca un brand extension al retelei, pentru ca managerii au inteles ca au nevoie de mai mult show in afara programului radio ca sa le creasca audienta, dar si ca sa-si consolideze relatiile cu artistii pentru ca reteaua se afla la vremea respectiva intr-un impas de audienta (si acum sunt la vanzare aproape 100 de statii din retea pentru performante slabe). E o lectie buna si pentru ce e la noi in tara, unde suntem mai degraba obisnuiti sa “exploatam” artistul, nu sa-l si premiem, rasplatim (oricare ar fi aria de activitate a artistului)
(In Romania, avem doar premiile Radio Romania Actualitati si Media Music Awards – MMA fiind rezultatul difuzarilor la toate retelele radio din ro)
2. Pentru ca sunt niste premii care se dau si starurilor in urcare in topuri, la capitolul fashion – covor rosu – sunt aparitii care nu se incadreaza in tipare. (unele dintre ele vor fi copiate repede si de cei din muzica de la noi)

Sunt premii pentru piata americana, in plus sunt si vedete locale mai putin cunoscute la noi care au fost invitate, deci au trecut pe covorul rosu.
